About the Job:We are seeking an experienced Foreman Leader to lead our construction project team. As a foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the project site, including personnel management, administrative tasks, and skilled tasks.
Responsibilities:- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the project site, including personnel management, administrative tasks, and skilled tasks.
- Inspect his work area on a daily basis for any unsafe acts and conditions, make decisions pertaining to production and provide leadership and direction in the development of short- and long-range plans.
- Proficiency reading blueprints, resolving conflicts, learning managerial skills, and acquiring cross-training.
- Perform other duties assigned by the project superintendent or field engineer.
- May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Subject to repetitive use of hands/arms, and legs.
- Hand/eye coordination, depth perception important.
- Must be able to drive cars, trucks, forklifts and other equipment.
- Hearing and comprehension is necessary for giving and receiving directions to perform work and/or safety policy.
- May be performing tasks involving physical labor on construction projects.
- May operate hand and power tools of all types.
- Climb and maintain balance on equipment.
- Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis.
- Position may require prolonged sitting.
- May assist other craft workers as needed.
