Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to conduct blood draws in various settings, including patient service centers and client locations. This role is crucial in delivering outstanding customer service, performing precise specimen collections, and representing our organization professionally.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute blood collection procedures using venipuncture and capillary methods for patients of all ages.
- Gather specimens for various tests, including drug screenings and paternity assessments.
- Accurately enter patient data in a timely manner.
- Handle billing processes and collect payments as necessary.
- Prepare specimens for laboratory testing and analysis.
- Maintain logs for patient and specimen information.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all patients.
- Perform administrative and clerical tasks as required.
- Travel to additional locations as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Phlebotomy certification from an accredited organization.
- Prior experience in phlebotomy is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Capability to work independently or collaboratively in a team.
- Comfortable working with minimal supervision.
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record when applicable.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness assessment.
