Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assembly Supervisor to join our team at WesternScott Fetzer. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating productions and daily assembly activities, ensuring that all operations are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of line leads and assembly personnel to ensure that production targets are met.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Identify and analyze issues related to assembly processes and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage and schedule personnel and activities to meet changing conditions.
  • Ensure that all safety procedures and rules are followed and that all safety issues are resolved.
  • Coordinate manpower requirements to meet changing conditions.
  • Verify that all methods of operation and ISO procedures are updated, followed, and effective training programs are maintained and documented.
  • Lead by example and demonstrate strong leadership skills.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of manufacturing experience in operations, including medical or industrial assembly activities, as well as supervisory experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience with implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Possess a high degree of personal integrity and an outstanding work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Intermediate skills of Microsoft Excel, Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of ADP.
Work Environment

The work environment is typical of a fast-paced assembly manufacturing environment, with moderate levels of noise and temperature-controlled office and manufacturing areas. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required within the facility.
