Job Description

Focus Staff is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team as a travel nurse. This is a 13-week contract position in Weirton, WV.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Critical Care Unit Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and be able to work effectively in a team setting.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to ensure the highest level of quality and safety.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Provide direct patient care and supervise the care provided by professional and ancillary personnel.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in Critical Care in an acute care hospital within the last three years required.
  • Completion of AHA ACLS Provider Course within 12 months of employment required.
  • CCRN preferred.
  • Experience with high acuity CCU/ICU/ER medical/surgical patients is preferred.
  • Associate's Degree or BSN required.
