Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our team as a traveling healthcare professional. As a Cath Lab Tech, you will be responsible for assisting with various medical procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and stent placements.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparing patients for procedures, including positioning and draping
- Operate imaging equipment, such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or complications
- Assist with sterile technique and maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Catheterization Laboratory Technologist
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
