We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our residential services team at Monarch. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with diverse needs.

About the Role

This position requires a caring and patient individual who is committed to delivering exceptional person-centered care. You will work closely with our residents, their families, and our interdisciplinary team to create personalized care plans that promote independence, dignity, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist nursing personnel in provision of basic care for residents, ensuring compliance with state policies and applicable health care standards.
  • Support residents with personal care functions, including bathing, skin care, toileting, grooming, oral hygiene, and dressing/undressing.
  • Measure and record intake/output, vital signs, and weight, reporting any changes or concerns to nursing staff.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed, promoting healthy eating habits and hydration.
  • Provide emotional support and facilitate positive relationships between residents, their families, and our team.
  • Implement person-centered plans, documenting progress and outcomes as required by agency policy.
Requirements:
  • CNA certification from the NC Department of Health and Human Services.
  • Valid North Carolina Driver License.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
