Job Summary

The EMT-Advanced provides advanced life support procedures and patient care activities in a fast-paced emergency medical services environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced life support procedures within scope of practice as approved by the Alabama Department of Public Health EMS Division.
  • Provide patient care activities related to patients being treated and transported to the hospital by ambulance.
  • Drive emergency vehicles while ensuring the safety of others.
  • Attend to patients in the patient compartment of the ambulance.
Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited School of Emergency Medical Services with a current license from the Alabama State Department of Public Health as an EMT-Advanced/Driver.
