Conductor Trainee

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused individual to join our team as a Conductor Trainee. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of freight trains across our network.

• Switch railcars and ensure safe train movement
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and management
• Monitor and report daily work
• Train Operator
• Inspect cars and track conditions

This role requires working in extreme all-weather conditions, walking on uneven surfaces, and performing tasks in a safety-sensitive work environment. You will also be required to work on and around heavy and moving machinery.

• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to work safely in extreme weather conditions
• Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to learn and use hand signals

We offer comprehensive on-the-job and classroom training for up to 17 weeks, which may include travel to our Training Center. This training will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in this role.
