Job Opportunity at Sumo Tacoma

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server to join our team at Sumo Tacoma, a reputable and popular restaurant in Tacoma. As a Server, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet Guests Warmly: Welcome guests and provide them with menus, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Offer Recommendations: Provide guests with menu item recommendations and answer questions to enhance their dining experience.
  • Take and Serve Orders: Accurately take and serve food and drink orders, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional service.
  • Ensure Customer Satisfaction: Check in with guests during their meal and address any concerns to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Maintain a Clean Work Area: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work collaboratively with team members to provide excellent service and ensure a seamless dining experience.
  • Process Payment Transactions: Accurately process payment transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience as a Server in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and team members.
  • Excellent Multitasking: Demonstrate excellent multitasking and time management abilities, with the ability to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of Food Service Standards: Possess knowledge of food and beverage service standards, with the ability to maintain high standards of quality and service.
