Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Class A CDL Hazmat Driver to join our team at Helix Resources, LLC. This is a seasonal position for Hurricane Relief Work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a tanker truck to transport liquid or hazardous materials safely and efficiently.
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment, such as a forklift or pump.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of materials during transportation.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle inspections.
  • Communicate with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols.
Requirements:
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with tanker endorsement.
  • Proven experience as a tanker driver or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of operating and maneuvering large vehicles, such as tractor-trailers.
  • Familiarity with dump trucks, flatbeds, or other types of freight vehicles is a plus.
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles.
  • Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is preferred.
  • Ability to follow directions and navigate routes efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
