Job Title: Travel Respiratory Therapist - RRT

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Travel Respiratory Therapist - RRT to join our team at Emerald Health Services. As a Travel Respiratory Therapist - RRT, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and asthma.
  • Administer oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and other respiratory medications as prescribed by physicians.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and peak flow measurements.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements:

  • Current RRT certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a respiratory therapist in an acute care setting.
  • IL license in hand to apply.
  • Cerner experience required.
  • Trauma Level I and II Experience preferred.
