Position Overview:
The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a crucial role in the healthcare team, responsible for the comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
This professional is accountable for delegating patient care tasks to other healthcare personnel, ensuring a high standard of care is maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and document individualized nursing care plans.
- Assist physicians during examinations and medical procedures.
- Conduct various patient tests and administer medications within the registered nurse's scope of practice.
- Encourage patient independence by setting care goals and educating patients and their families about conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.
- Utilize experience and clinical judgment to achieve care objectives.
- Perform a variety of nursing tasks, demonstrating creativity and flexibility in care delivery.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum: 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Preferred: 2-4 years of relevant experience.
Licensure and Certification:
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Current/Active Registered Nurse License (RN) in Florida or an approved Multi-State License
- Education: Technical School/2 Years College/Associates Degree
