Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse to join our team at Maine Medical Center. The successful candidate will have a strong background in patient care and be passionate about delivering high-quality nursing services.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a high level of clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality nursing services to patients on the stroke unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress and outcomes
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • A Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent qualification
  • A current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of Maine
  • At least 1 year of prior RN work experience, preferably in a telemetry environment
  • Experience caring for stroke patients and/or working in a similar acute medical setting
