The MRI Technologist is responsible for executing intricate diagnostic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures as per the directives of a licensed physician. This role demands the production of high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring exceptional patient care.

Minimum Educational Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited MRI program.

Preferred Educational Qualifications: Associate's degree in Allied Health or a Bachelor's degree with certification in another clinical imaging specialty.

Minimum Experience: At least 6 months in Magnetic Resonance Imaging with supervised clinical exposure.

Must possess a solid understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and MR pathology.

Preferred Experience: 2-5 years in MRI.

Required Certifications/Licensure: Must hold the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification in Radiology or be eligible for ARMRIT registry according to ACR guidelines. Registration as an MR Technologist is required within one year post-graduation from an accredited program. If registered with ARRT in ionizing radiation, a current Texas Medical Board (TMB) license is mandatory.

Preferred Certifications/Licensure: ARRT certification in MRI.

Required Courses/Completions (e.g., CPR): BLS certification obtained through an approved American Heart Association Training Center or the Military Training Network.
