About This Role

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team in Acute Therapy. As a Speech Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from medical and physical disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' communication and swallowing abilities
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans to improve patients' communication and swallowing skills
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care and discharge planning
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in speech therapy

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid and current license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of California
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum of three years' experience in an acute care setting, including clinical swallowing evaluations and modified barium swallow evaluations
