Franklin University is seeking a dedicated Graduate Admissions Advisor to join our team. This role is essential in the recruitment and assessment of potential students for our graduate programs, including both master's and doctoral degrees, through a selective admissions framework.
The successful candidate will engage in proactive outreach to inform and guide prospective graduate students through the admissions process, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of requirements and timelines. This position involves significant communication through various channels, including phone, email, and text, to maintain a high-quality experience for applicants.
The role requires collaboration with multiple departments within the University, such as Financial Aid, Marketing, the Registrar, and Graduate Student Affairs, to foster strong working relationships and support the admissions process.
The hybrid work schedule includes on-campus presence in Columbus, Ohio, on designated days, with flexibility for remote work on other days. The work hours will consist of one late evening each week, alongside a mix of standard and flexible hours to accommodate the needs of the role. Additional evening work may be necessary for special events.
A master's degree is a prerequisite for this position. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, and demonstrate a proven history of achieving goals and ensuring student satisfaction. Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, time management, and the capacity to provide and receive constructive feedback are essential traits for success in this role. Prior experience in graduate student recruitment or admissions is highly valued, along with familiarity with CRM tools and project management.
