Job Overview

Prolink is seeking an experienced Industrial Automation Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment, including belt changes, gear boxes, and other mechanical components. Additionally, they will troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including 3-phase motors, VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), relays, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure production equipment runs smoothly.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems to minimize downtime.
  • Work with Siemens, Allen Bradley, and Fanuc controls and systems to optimize automation efforts.
  • Maintain and repair conveyor belts and sprockets to meet production demands.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience with robotics, PLCs, and automation technologies.
  • Knowledge of Siemens, Allen Bradley, and Fanuc systems.
  • Proficiency in electrical systems, including 3-phase motors, VFDs, relays, and contractors.
  • Experience with pneumatic systems and basic mechanical maintenance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in both electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with belt changes, gear boxes, and conveyor systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Understanding of automation challenges and solutions.
Compensation:

$65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
