Water Jet Machinist

We are seeking a skilled Water Jet Operator to join our team in Corona, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining our cutting machines to produce high-quality parts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle materials for machines
• Work independently on assigned tasks
• Operate waterjet cutting machines to cut materials according to specifications
• Load and unload materials onto the waterjet machine safely and efficiently
• Set up cutting parameters such as pressure, speed, and abrasive flow
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and accuracy of cuts
• Perform routine maintenance on the waterjet machine to ensure optimal performance
• Inspect finished pieces for quality control purposes
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the cutting process
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Requirements:

• 2+ years programming or operating Waterjet
• Read blueprints effectively
• Use precision measuring tools
• Know various metal types and grades
• Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs
