Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' communication skills, cognitive functions, and oral-motor capabilities.
  • Evaluate the home environment when necessary and determine the required equipment for speech and language improvement.
  • Identify speech and language challenges and collaborate with physicians to develop tailored care plans.
  • Implement speech therapy programs using specialized techniques and equipment.
  • Educate patients, caregivers, and healthcare team members about their roles in the therapy process.
  • Recommend appropriate communication devices and hearing assessments as needed.
  • Document clinical progress and prepare summaries based on the achievement of therapy goals.
  • Guide patients and their families through treatment plans and necessary services.
  • Maintain compliance with professional standards and ensure clinical competency in speech-language pathology.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the delivery of speech-language pathology services.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Possess a degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
  • Hold current licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • One year of relevant professional experience is preferred.
  • Adhere to all applicable professional standards and regulations.
  • Maintain current CPR certification and health documentation as required.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
  • Exhibit computer proficiency and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
