Job Title: Material Handler - Clamp Truck Operator

Location: Clarksville, TN

Shift: 2nd Shift

Jostens is seeking an experienced Material Handler with expertise in operating Clamp Trucks to join the Sheeter department and warehouse. This role involves assisting with pulling correct materials for transport to and from the Sheeting area, including loading and unloading trucks and railcars.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with material handling and transportation
  • Operate Clamp Trucks and other equipment
  • Work collaboratively with the Sheeter department and warehouse team
  • Perform other duties as needed to support department operations

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Warehouse and/or production experience preferred
  • Good communication skills - written and verbal
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Organizational skills a must
  • Must be trained and certified to drive class 1, 4 and 5 lift trucks, including Clamp Trucks and all sit-downs
  • Must be safety-minded and able to follow safety guidelines
  • Must be able to work within the physical requirements of the position
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Willing to work flexible hours and overtime with short notice
  • Works well under pressure of deadlines
  • Must have flexibility to learn and use new technology
  • Must be able to lift 10 to 50 lbs
  • Must be willing to work in team environment and cross-train for team coverage
  • Excellent attendance record
