We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Perianesthesia Registered Nurse to join our team at Fairview Health Services. As a Perianesthesia RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients and patient conditions according to Perioperative Policy and ASPAN Standards
- Deliver and evaluate nursing care for all assigned patient population(s) who are anticipating and recovering from procedure(s) and anesthesia
- Coordinate care with members of the health care team and delegate responsibilities to others as appropriate
- Demonstrate ability to deliver care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served
- Evaluate care, adapt interventions and prioritize care based on patient assessments, using resources to respond to emergency situations
- Current RN license in the state of Minnesota
- A minimum of two years current RN experience in Adult and/or Pediatric Critical Care
- Hospital-based Adult and Pediatric PACU experience required within the past 6 months
- BLS certification at time of hire
- ACLS and PALS certification required
