Job SummaryThe Registered Nurse - Cardiac Pre/Post is responsible for administering patient care in an area of the hospital where patients have advanced illnesses or injuries. This role requires a high level of critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills to provide timely, intense, and complex care to patients.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Participate in unit-level and organizational-level committees to improve patient care and outcomes
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification
- 1 year RN experience required
