About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at AdventHealth Ambulatory Services. As a Physical Therapist in our outpatient setting, you will provide professional direct and indirect services to specific age groups, utilizing process improvement to achieve the goals of the Sports Med and Rehab Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in promoting evidence-based standards of care and lifelong learning through autonomous and collaborative participation in research, journal club/reviews, teaching/mentoring/CI, and/or clinical practice education within a peer group
  • Regularly participate in marketing to physicians/physician practices to build referral relationships with a minimum of 2 contacts per month
  • Determine Physical Therapy Diagnosis and establishes plan of care, make recommendations for referral if treatment needed outside of scope of Physical Therapist practice
  • Designs and implements a treatment plan of care utilizing practice standards and recommended techniques and modalities, insurance guidelines, and patient's needs
  • Monitors patient's response and progress to treatment and modifies treatment plan as appropriate
Requirements
  • Licensed in the State of Florida as a Physical Therapist, or Temporary State of Florida permit as Physical Therapist
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Previous experience or clinical rotations in an outpatient setting
