Role DescriptionThis role involves performing various respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures under the direction and authorization of the medical director and cardiopulmonary director.
Key Responsibilities- Performing assessments, planning, implementation, and documentation of care for patients with respiratory issues.
- Providing leadership and guidance to junior staff members when acting as Lead RCP.
- Must possess a State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License.
- Hold a current BCLS (AHA) certificate.
- A Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) is mandatory.
- Two years of experience as an RCP is highly preferred.
- A valid ACLS certificate is required within 60 days of hiring.
- NRP and PALS certificates are also beneficial.
- An Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree is preferred but not necessary.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
$65,000 - $90,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience.
