Job Title: Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our Power Department. This is a permanent position that offers a great opportunity to work on innovative construction projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Designing, developing, and testing electrical equipment and systems, including power distribution and lighting systems for construction projects.
  • Utilizing Revit/CAD, Trane Trace, eQuest, and AutoCAD Electrical to create and modify electrical drawings and specifications.
  • Collaborating with project managers and other engineering disciplines to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Performing load calculations, energy modeling, and lighting calculations.
  • Conducting site inspections and surveys to ensure installations and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety procedures, documenting all inspections, and maintaining records of test data.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to construction teams.
  • Assisting in the development of project schedules and budgets.
  • Participating in project meetings and performing presentations as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the construction industry.
  • A Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Revit/CAD, Trane Trace, eQuest, and AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Experience with Energy Star programs and energy-efficient design.
  • Strong understanding of electrical theory, power systems, and electrical safety standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to continue education and training to stay current with industry trends and advancements.
