We are seeking a Logistics and Inventory Coordinator to join our team at C.H. Robinson. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate logistics and inventory activities to ensure efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of goods
  • Assist with training and coaching of warehouse team members
  • Work closely with supervisory team to ensure processes are followed according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Use Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure proper warehouse organization
  • Perform assignments as delegated by warehouse supervisors
  • Receive goods on behalf of customers and suppliers, including offloading and loading vehicles, manual handling, checking paperwork, weighing, measuring, booking in freight, and reporting discrepancies
  • Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts and hand jacks
  • Palletize loose and floor-loaded cargo, stretch wrap and/or band
  • Unload/load trailers/ocean containers in a professional and damage-free manner
  • Prepare outbound loads to depart the warehouse, including matching paperwork with freight, labeling, and ULD preparation
  • Accurately sign off Bills of Lading and verify counts and/or damages
  • Stage cargo within the warehouse in a safe and orderly manner
  • Responsible for general housekeeping to maintain warehouse standards of cleanliness and organization

Qualifications

This role requires a minimum of 2 years of previous warehouse operations experience, certification as a forklift operator, and the ability to work flexible hours and days. A High School Diploma or GED is preferred, along with familiarity with Bills of Lading, Shipping Manifests, Delivery Orders, and excellent verbal communication skills.

Working Conditions

The ideal candidate will be able to stand and/or walk for long periods daily while frequently bending, twisting, reaching, and periodically lifting up to 50 pounds. You must also be willing to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
