Job Summary

As a Medical Safety Specialist at Terex Corporation, you will be responsible for maintaining a committed safety culture and adhering to Terex safety policies and procedures. You will also be involved in moving, stocking, receiving, and packing outbound warehouse merchandise, as well as operating warehouse equipment as needed to complete tasks. Additionally, you will properly crate and protect materials using hand and power tools, work with Replacement Part orders, shipping instructions, and regulations, and understand types of fixtures to use for picking and moving each type of product. You will also be required to understand DOT rules and regulations for the transport of all types of loads on highways and be able to lift up to 40 lbs with assistance of others or lifting equipment provided.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain a committed safety culture and adhere to Terex safety policies and procedures
Move, stock, receive, and pack outbound warehouse merchandise
Operate warehouse equipment as needed to complete tasks
Properly crate and protect materials using hand and power tools
Work with Replacement Part orders, shipping instructions, and regulations
Understand types of fixtures to use for picking and moving each type of product
Understand DOT rules and regulations for the transport of all types of loads on highways
Lift up to 40 lbs with assistance of others or lifting equipment provided

Requirements

Basic computer skills
Certification to drive a forklift or have the skills to obtain certification and perform maintenance checks each use
1 to 2 years' experience in related fields preferred
Prepare bills of lading and shipping reports
Check off shipments and observe truck loading operations, bracing, and securing of loads to insure safe arrival
Interpret order acknowledgment as to ship loose bill of material
Understand the procedure for chaining and securing the units to the trailer for safe and damage-free transport to the end customer
