Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Job Summary:

TotalMed Allied is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team for a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining a safe and efficient imaging environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate imaging equipment, such as CT scanners, to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them for optimal image capture
  • Maintain a clean and organized imaging environment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training as needed

Requirements:

  • Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) or equivalent
  • Experience working in a dynamic healthcare environment, preferably in a diagnostic imaging setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Ability to lift and move patients, as well as operate imaging equipment, with minimal physical assistance
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed
