Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Wellstar Health System. As a critical care nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients and their families, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and cultural diversity
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and quality of care
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to promote best practices in critical care
Requirements
  • Diploma from an accredited nursing program
  • Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing
  • Less than 1 year completion of accredited/approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours
  • Direct Patient Care Experience
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English language
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing
