Network Architect

At StratasCorp, we are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, migrating, implementing, enhancing, optimizing, and maintaining a complex network infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have excellent inter-personal skills, enabling collaboration across a team of network engineers, cyber engineers, software engineers, and other IT professionals. This may include architecting new network solutions, developing new network designs, network management assessments, testing, documentation, and release.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide full lifecycle engineering support to customers, from requirements definition through preliminary and detailed designs.
- Support solution deployment and help resolve any installation and network hardware/systems issues, then update technical documentation to maintain a strong technical baseline.
- Provide technical expertise and assist with network integration.
- Create and update network infrastructure documentation, assist with the development of network architecture and roadmaps, and support the design, testing, and integration of new network infrastructure solutions.
- Support team leads as they work with stakeholders to identify short and long-term priorities and support development of program plans, roadmaps, process improvements, and/or O&M Frameworks.
Requirements:
- Experience utilizing technical knowledge to develop technical solutions for customer issues, utilizing various data sources to diagnose issues and inform the solution.
- Proven skills in network monitoring tools and a deep understanding of network data, and how to utilize it in troubleshooting, solution generation, and operations.
- Experience evaluating network service requests to identify root cause and provide solution recommendations.
- Experience maintaining network hardware and software, including network layer communications providing transport, as well as hands-on experience monitoring network health to ensure availability.
- Hands-on experience in network engineering, network administration.
- Cisco and Juniper experience required.
- Network+; CCNA Routing & Switching; CCNA Security; CCNA Video or other industry certification.
