Job Title: Physical Therapist

Orthopedic One is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our department.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluations:
    • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred for physical therapy, ensuring accurate assessments and effective communication with referral sources and other departments.
    • Prepare and submit comprehensive reports, including evaluation summaries, discharge reports, and progress reports to referring physicians and agencies.
  • Treatment Quality:
    • Deliver evidence-based physical therapy practices, adhering to the American Physical Therapy Association Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, prioritizing patient-centered care and shared decision-making.
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Treatment Quantitative:
    • Manage patient caseloads efficiently, ensuring timely and effective treatment delivery.
    • Monitor and adjust treatment plans as needed, balancing patient and provider expectations.
    • Ensure accurate billing and coding, aligning with department standards.
  • Records and Reports:
    • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including evaluation reports, discharge reports, and progress reports.
    • Prepare and submit special reports as requested by the Director and/or Manager.
  • Professional Status and Public Relations:
    • Stay current with industry trends and best practices, sharing knowledge with colleagues and contributing to departmental growth.
    • Participate in educational presentations and community outreach, promoting Orthopedic One's reputation and expertise.
  • Teamwork:
    • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless workflow and efficient patient care.
    • Provide coverage and support as needed, maintaining a positive and respectful work environment.
  • Policies and Procedures:
    • Comply with Orthopedic One's policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to compliance and risk management programs.
    • Participate in training and education, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Qualifications:
    • Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association accredited school of Physical Therapy.
    • Current state licensure and CPR certification, including BLS/AED training.
