Position Overview
This esteemed medical facility in South Georgia is in search of a board certified or board eligible physician with expertise in Obstetrics and Gynecology. The selected candidate will become part of a well-established three-physician practice. The compensation package includes a competitive salary aligned with MGMA standards, comprehensive benefits (which encompass health, disability, and malpractice insurance), relocation support, and educational loan assistance, alongside office setup and administrative backing from the medical center.
Key Highlights of the Position
- The role offers a guaranteed salary within the range of $355,000 to $365,000, complemented by a 3% annual cost-of-living adjustment. Compensation is not based on RVUs. A quarterly bonus is available, amounting to 100% of the physician's practice profits (revenue minus overhead).
- We provide student loan repayment assistance of up to $30,000 annually if required. Physicians have the option of a residency stipend of $4,000 per month from the time of contract signing until employment commencement or a sign-on bonus of equivalent value upon starting.
- As a teaching hospital with family medicine and psychiatry residency programs, our physicians receive family health insurance in exchange for mentoring six residents or medical students annually.
- A relocation allowance of up to $25,000 is offered, along with coverage for two house-hunting trips. Additionally, a $4,000 Continuing Medical Education (CME) allowance and five paid CME days per year are provided, along with 20 paid time off (PTO) days and seven paid holidays, plus a monthly cell phone allowance.
- Clinic hours are Monday to Thursday from 8 AM to 5 PM and Friday from 8 AM to 12 PM, with Friday afternoons reserved for administrative tasks as needed.
- In the previous year, the facility successfully delivered 700 babies.
