Vice President of Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled Shop & Service Manager to join our team at Gopherfish Mgmt LLC in Pitman, New Jersey.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our vintage, classic and hot rod automotive restoration shop.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage staff effectively to ensure efficient job performance and track timecards.
• Maintain high-quality work standards while meeting deadlines.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting, contacting, following-up and obtaining feedback from customers.
• Order parts to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Foster effective communication between staff and customers.
• Perform general auto repairs and diagnostics as needed.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience as a shop manager.
• 1+ year of automotive diagnostics experience required.
• ASE Certification is preferred.
• Experience in classic, antique or hot rod vehicles is essential.
• Effective leadership skills and strong communication abilities.
• Demonstrated knowledge of automotive systems and repairs.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree preferred.

Estimated Salary: $32.50 per hour, based on average experience in the industry and location.
