We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Sierra Medical Center. As a Per Diem Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work a varied schedule and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, evaluating outcomes and adjusting nursing care processes as needed to ensure optimal patient care.
- Perform head-to-toe assessments on all patients and reassessments as per policy, including pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients.
- Utilize appropriate pain management techniques and educate patients and families regarding pain management.
- Use the triage process to ensure timely and appropriate care to patients, accurately assigning triage categories.
- 2 years of Emergency Department experience required.
- Current RN license within the state of practice.
- Current BCLS Certification.
- ACLS Certified within six (6) months of hire.
- PALS within six (6) months of hire.
- ENPC and TNCC optional.
Sierra Medical Center is a 170-bed acute care hospital offering a range of services, including 24/7 ER care, cardiology, oncology, labor and delivery, level II NICU, surgical and orthopedic services.
