Job Title: Composite Technician I

We are seeking a skilled Composite Technician I to join our team at Roush. As a Composite Technician I, you will play a critical role in the production of composite parts, working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow engineering and manufacturing specifications to create composite parts
  • Operate presses, autoclaves, and ovens to complete the production cycle
  • Sand and burr finished surfaces to meet quality standards
  • Examine demolded parts for quality and define any defects
  • Use shop mathematics and precision measuring instruments to complete work assignments
  • Verify work performed is per work instruction and meets process and/or engineering specification
  • Routinely move product within manufacturing work area
  • Support the continuous flow of product within the manufacturing process
  • Daily cleaning of cleanroom area

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • No previous experience required
  • Ability to use hand tools such as grinders, files, and Dremel's
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to follow work instructions and work independently
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to have excellent attendance
