Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Long-Term Care Specialist. Key Responsibilities- Provide Direct Care: Administer medications, perform wound care, and provide other nursing interventions as needed to ensure the health and well-being of our residents.
- Develop and Implement Care Plans: Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs and goals of each resident.
- Conduct Resident Assessments: Conduct regular assessments of our residents to identify their changing needs and develop strategies to address them.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with our residents, families, and healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination and promote a culture of transparency and respect.
- Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance the quality of care we provide.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in long-term care or a related field.
- Licensure: Current RN licensure in the state of Ohio.
- Certifications: Current CPR certification and any other certifications required by our facility.
