Job Title: Operating Room Tech / Surgical Technician

At Cross Country Nurses, we are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As an Operating Room Tech, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Surgical Technologist to work in our operating room. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surgical technology and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instruments
  • Ensure aseptic technique is maintained throughout the procedure
  • Transport patients to and from the operating room
  • Participate in post-operative care and recovery
Requirements:
  • Nationally Certified in Surgical Technology (NBSTSA)
  • Minimum 1 year of recent acute Surg Tech experience
  • BLS Certification
  • Trauma Experience preferred, not required
