OptiMindHealth Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Job Description

At OptiMindHealth, we are seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our integrated care team. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality behavioral health services to our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the integrated care team model, working collaboratively with physicians, psychiatric nurse practitioners, licensed clinical psychologists, and licensed mental health professionals.
  • Provide outpatient behavioral health services, including medication management and individual psychotherapy, as well as family therapy, group therapy, and psychological testing as needed.
  • Customize care for each patient, determining the frequency and duration of sessions based on individual needs.
  • Focus on patient care without additional on-call responsibilities, with our back-office support team handling billing, collections, credentialing, and other administrative tasks.
Requirements:
  • Licensure in Massachusetts as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
  • Experience working with persons with various behavioral health issues, such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, substance misuse, and other psychiatric impairments.
  • Successful completion of the PMHNP-BC exam is preferred.
