Pediatric Therapeutic Services (PTS) is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide school-based services for a local school district.
Key Responsibilities- Implement behavioral intervention services to children with special needs, adhering to Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) based programs as directed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Provide daily modeling and teacher education to ensure behavior intervention strategies are implemented with high treatment fidelity.
- Collaborate with the crisis team to de-escalate behaviors when necessary.
- Collect data on all programming as directed by the BCBA.
- Advise and consult with families and other agency personnel under the guidance of the BCBA.
- Understand and adhere to established policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain proficiency in various behavioral technician skills.
- Effectively participate with interdisciplinary team members to achieve shared goals.
- Attend team meetings as required.
- Consistently interpret and accurately perform assigned responsibilities, adhering to Agency standards.
- Maintain acceptable attendance status, per Agency policy.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills through daily documentation and infrequent overtime for routine assignments.
- Exhibit sound judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
- Maintain current CPR certification.
