Job Overview

As a Trailer Technician at Toyota Lift Northwest, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our customers' trailer fleets. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair trailer systems, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubrication and inspection, to prevent equipment downtime
  • Conduct DOT inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve complex technical issues and improve process efficiency
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices to maintain a high level of technical expertise

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or vocational training preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in trailer repair and maintenance; mechanical experience a plus
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized with excellent communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Working Conditions:

The Trailer Technician will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent exposure to heavy equipment, tools, and materials. The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, and lifting up to 75 pounds.
