We are seeking skilled individuals to join our assembly team at Buffalo Air Handling. The ideal candidates will possess experience in utilizing hand tools and powered machinery for the fabrication and modification of sheet metal components.
Key ResponsibilitiesYour primary duties will include:
- Assisting in the setup and assembly of various fabricated parts and components within the HVAC assembly departments.
- Working on items such as bases, walls, fans, coils, doors, filter frames, and roof sections.
- Utilizing indoor construction skills, particularly with sheet metal, to enhance the assembly process.
1st Shift: Monday to Thursday, 5 AM to 3 PM
2nd Shift: Monday to Thursday, 3 PM to 1 AM
Note: Fridays are off, with potential voluntary overtime available on Fridays and/or Saturdays.
CompensationThe pay rate for this position is $16.93 per hour, with a $2.00 shift differential for second shift workers.
QualificationsApplicants should meet the following criteria:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to accurately use a tape measure is essential.
- Successful completion of a math/measurement assessment is required prior to the interview.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check, physical examination, and drug screening.
