Job Title: Traveling Catheterization Laboratory Technologist

Job Summary:

TotalMed Allied is seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting. As a Cath Lab Tech, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of technical procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and other interventional radiology procedures.
  • Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including fluoroscopy and imaging systems.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including cardiologists, radiologists, and nurses, to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient outcomes and reduce complications.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Current certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist or Radiologic Technologist.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Catheterization Laboratory setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
