Job Title: Chief Estimator

At Brave New World, we are seeking an experienced Chief Estimator to lead our estimating team. This role plays a critical part in overseeing the estimating process for all projects, ensuring accurate budgets and estimates.

Our company services both public and private sectors, catering to top owners, developers, construction managers, and institutions. We deliver high-quality services that cover all critical aspects of ground-up construction projects, driven by safety, integrity, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the estimating process for projects ranging from fully defined to conceptual.
  • Manage and assign responsibilities within the estimating team.
  • Review project plans, specifications, and subcontractor pricing to ensure complete scope coverage.
  • Prepare conceptual budgets, review bids, and oversee specialty contractor bid scoping.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, design teams, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Actively participate in industry, client, and community relations to enhance the company's image.
  • Assist in project transition, pricing changes, and maintaining up-to-date data on construction and material costs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 15+ years of estimating or project experience on building projects valued at $200 million+.
  • Proficient in Timberline, OST, Revit, and MS Office.
  • Strong communication, organization, and team collaboration skills.
  • Must possess attention to detail, strong work ethic, and be willing to travel as needed.
