Nurse - Medical Surgical Unit

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical team at Avita Health System. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the nursing care of patients within the Medical Surgical unit.
- Ensure continuity of care by providing direct care and supervising the care given by nursing assistants, LPNs, and supportive staff members.
- Participate in patient and family teaching, promoting health and wellness through education and support.
- Maintain a patient advocate role, upholding the organization's mission and values.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio is required.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification is also necessary.
To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong commitment to patient-centered care, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
