Nurse Care Specialist for Adult and Pediatric Oncology

Job Overview:
Williamson Health, a leading healthcare system in Franklin, Tennessee, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Medical Oncology Care Unit as a PRN nurse. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality care to adult and pediatric patients while working collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and implement nursing care for patients in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans that meet their unique requirements.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and handling emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Tennessee.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in medical oncology or a related field.
  • Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
