We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team at UnityPoint Health Finley Hospital. As a Patient Care Technician, you will provide direct patient care and technical support to patients on the 5th floor Medical/Surgical unit.
Responsibilities- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Answer patient call lights and respond to patient needs in a timely manner.
- Assist with simple procedures, such as taking vital signs and recording intake and output.
- Transport patients, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Successful completion of a Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) program or equivalent experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
