Job Overview

Palermo Advisors is seeking an experienced Escrow Officer to join our team. As an Escrow Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth transfer of property ownership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze title orders to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Communicate with buyers, sellers, and agents to gather necessary information and update parties on the status of the transaction
  • Order and review title searches, payoffs, estoppels, and other documentation to ensure a clear chain of title
  • Prepare and review settlement statements and closing disclosures to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Collaborate with the team to resolve title issues and ensure a smooth closing process
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in title and escrow transactions
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Intermediate experience with technology, including G-Suite and Microsoft Office

This is a hybrid work position, and candidates must reside in or near Salt Lake City, Draper, or Provo, Utah.
