Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic Registered Nurse (RN) to work as the In-Home Support Services (IHSS) Registered Nurse (RN) in the specialty area of Pediatrics and Adults. As the nation's first home care provider, Interim HealthCare understands the importance of quality care that puts people first. Our IHSS department offers quality of life through the promotion of independence within the home by assisting with health maintenance activities, personal care, and homemaker services.

Responsibilities:

Complete initial and ongoing comprehensive assessments. Evaluate and develop plan of care for patient. Counsel and educate the patient and family in meeting healthcare/nursing and related needs. Supervise IHSS staff. Contribute to the effective implementation of company programs and services. Administer skills validation tests and provide training as needed. Provide a professional, respectful, and compassionate experience of care to all patients.

Requirements:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that is active in Colorado. CPR Certification (demonstration course required). Pass a background check and drug test (we are required to test for THC). At least six (6) months of hands-on clinical experience. Prefer at least two (2) years of Home Care experience and one (1) year of supervisory experience. Willing to travel to surrounding areas. Able to work independently and provide effective communication to patient/family, team members, and other healthcare professionals.
