Overview:
">The Shasta Community Health Center is seeking a skilled RN Coordinator to provide clinician support in areas where nursing and medicine overlap.
Salary Range: $33.30 - $49.90 per hour
Job Description:
">The primary function of the Clinical Support Nurse is to utilize the nursing process to provide support in areas where functions of nursing and medicine overlap. The nurse will accurately administer medications, including immunizations, by all routes, including IV. They will provide patient education and oversee the provision of education by LVNs and MAs on the clinical team. The nurse will perform independent triage and communicate with clinicians regarding actions taken.

- Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation) in patient care and daily activities; document all actions, as appropriate, in EHR.">
- Coordinate nursing activities and help maintain efficient patient flow, care, and processes.">
- Function under standardized procedures or patient care protocols to provide independent care.">
- Function as clinic charge nurse when assigned.">
- Participate in the quality improvement process as requested or assigned.">
Requirements:

- Completion of an accredited RN program.">
- Current California RN license upon hire and maintain current.">
- Current CPR/BLS certification upon hire and maintain current.">
Preferred Qualifications:

- Minimum of one year's experience in acute care nursing.">
- Previous experience working in an outpatient clinic or doctor's office.">
