International Logistics Analyst

Koch Industries is in search of a motivated and detail-oriented Analyst to enhance our International Trade Capability. This position will primarily concentrate on initiatives aimed at refining processes to establish and execute regulatory standards and optimal practices associated with import/export operations.
A successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and both written and verbal communication skills. A strong customer orientation and the capacity to collaborate across various departments to ensure adherence to export regulations are essential.
Our Department
The International Trade Capability consists of professionals dedicated to supporting the diverse global operations of Koch by providing insights on critical international trade challenges, including compliance with sanctions, export regulations, trade agreements, ongoing trade negotiations, and customs tariffs.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, plan, and execute process enhancement projects to improve operational efficiency.
- Assess the implications of regulatory or business modifications pertinent to international trade activities and offer recommendations on compliance requirements and process execution.
- Evaluate current recruitment processes to pinpoint enhancements for roles involving access to regulated technologies.
- Perform additional import/export responsibilities as required.
- Experience in import/export compliance, international logistics (multimodal), or relevant compliance roles within a global business context.
- Strong organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- High proficiency in analytical thinking, critical problem-solving, and the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 applications.
- Experience with export regulations and controlled technologies.
- Advanced proficiency in utilizing PowerBi, Alteryx, or Ui Path technologies.
